  2. Don't give up. I had my surgery the same day as you and I'm not down that much either. My recovery has been very slow. There is no way I could go to the gym yet. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I so enjoy the Isopure. I can tolerate the premier Protein drink. I do have to keep it really really COLD and let it get a little watered down. I just remind myself is a drink for effect not enjoyment. But some days is tough. Like now I'm sick with the flu. Really hard to get extra protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I have tiny cocktail forks and spoons. Even plates. Even when I eat cottage cheese I still take eraser size bites. I had bypass on 9/14/16 and had complications so I've been in the semi soft food stage since week 3. Im still depending on my Protein shakes. I don't get hunger pangs and don't really feel stuffed. As soon as I feel anything like I'm full I stop eating. Been crazy. I'm worried I won't know when I'm full once I start eating solid foods. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. I'm just worried about my Protein intake. And Vitamins. With this flu I'm lucky to get my Water and small meals. Still getting about 50 gm of protein but only got one round of vitamins. So hard when sick Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Oh thank you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I had bypass surgery in 9/14 and had complications and needed a second surgery. My recovery has been a lot slower. Thought I was just starting g to see the light of day and got hit with this horrible cold/flu. I started taking musenix for my symptoms. Anyone have issues with taking cold meds? I need some relief. I diffuse essential oils all day but they just aren't enough. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. I was wondering about the cream Soups like split pea. If we are only to eat 1/2 cup at a time does this also mean only 1/2 cup of cream Soup too? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. So you add an unflavored Protein powder to hello or pudding? That sounds like a good idea. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Where do you find the dropins Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. With Protein shakes, yogurt and cottage cheese and Isopure I'm getting over 100 grams of protein. Seems to be s good plan. But the shakes are just hard to drink. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Does anyone drink the nectar brand Protein drinks? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. The new direction from my surgeon. And premier Protein chocolate and Isopure chocolate. The Isopure was just yucky. The Premier Protein wasn't too bad. I just wish I could find something that was easier to drink and wasn't so much. I know I have to keep trying. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. OMG! Trying to find a Protein shake. They are all so yucky. I did finally get used to the new direction shakes but not sure if those are the best cost wise to keep drinking. HELP! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Oh that is awesome! I'm gonna ask about them. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. Idk why I was feeling great. Then I moved up a stage and now I'm feeling so full of air. Like I need to burp. Nauseous. I'm stepping back. And I have been following ALL the instructions. Feeling so frustrated. I thought I was getting better and now I feel like I'm taking a step backwards. Time to can the RD. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. What about the Isopure? 40 gm of Protein. Easier to drink than a lot of the protein shakes. I know it doesn't have all the Vitamins though. Any suggestions on the Isopure? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. I had bypass surgery on 9/14. I had severe complications but am home now. It delayed my eating stages, so I just started 2 days ago with the semi-solid foods. I was doing great before. But I get very nauseous if I don't eat frequently. My daughter thinks it could because I'm spending my energy and not enough calories intake. How does anyone set their meal plans? I'm struggling with the schedule. Cuz once I get to that point it takes almost an hours to regulate again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
