I am starting to have mixed emotions. On one hand I am extremely excited about having my surgery and what 2017 has in store. On the other hand, I am beginning to get nervous about the surgery itself. I don't like being put under..never have. I feel confident that I can make it through this 2 week liver reduction diet that I will start on Wednesday. I'm trying to stay focused; however, I do plan to have my ribeye steak dinner tomorrow. I'm not doing a food funeral, but I have been enjoying some of my favorite foods that I will not have for a while.
