  1. This is the only way I can get my daily Water intake... fruit infused water! 4 weeks post op
  2. Are you able to get all of your fluids in?
  3. As I progress to eating regular foods, can you please provide what your daily intake is for Breakfast, lunch, & dinner? I would love to hear from people who have been successful with the sleeve, other than reading random menus online. What works for you that I may be able to adopt? Thank you in advance!
  4. I did, as well. For me, it was a difficult recovery for the first 5 days after surgery. I could barely drink anything. My throat was very sore as I developed really bad acid. I'm still dealing with the acid and my voice has not returned to normal. The pain is much better, and I'm able to drink now. So, it's getting better.
  5. Hello, I'm in MD. I would love to connect with someone in the area.
  6. Hello, I'm 16 days post op and I have a terrible sore throat and the more I talk the harder it is for me to speak. My surgeon believes it's acid reflux because of my hernia repair and issues with my esophagus during the sleeve surgery. I'm taking Nexium once a day for the past week. I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with it this long? When did you begin to feel better? What did you take? Thank you! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  7. It's good to know that I'm not alone. I will continue to sip until it gets better! I just wish I knew how long! ????
  8. Not being able to eat or take in a lot of fluids! I'm 8 days post op and I still can't have more than 3-4 bites. I had a terrible hernia that was repaired during surgery so my healing is progressing very slow. Thank goodness for popsicles! I wonder.... When will it get better? What will my normal diet consist of?
  9. No, they don't. I have a one year old at home. I'm trying to wean myself off the meds so I can wake up and spend time with the baby. If the gas pain went away, I would be good!
  10. I had morphin & Tylenol with cod but it didn't help with the gas pain. I'm walking more since coming home. That is helping but it's still there. Sent from my SM-G925P using the BariatricPal App
  11. Sleeved on 10/6, as well. My gas pain is still in my shoulders. Very tight and painful! I'm able to walk around really well. I can keep liquids down but I don't want it. I'm trying! Today is the first day I feel human. Yesterday I felt like crap. Sent from my SM-G925P using the BariatricPal App

  15. I'm in MD... I'm having my surgery at Virginia Hospital Center. This Dr did my lap band 7 years ago. I'm revising to a sleeve on 10/6. Band was removed in July. Sent from my SM-G925P using the BariatricPal App
  16. I'm only taking 5 days off. I will go back and sit down. If I feel it's too soon then I'll take additional days. Praying it will be ok!
  17. I'm October 6th as well. I'm located in MD but surgery will be at Virginia Hospital Center. I'm looking forward to getting back to me. Sent from my SM-G925P using the BariatricPal App
