  2. Sorry for the late response Ellapearl.....I had my pre-op appointment on 9/29 and I also met with my dietician. I started freaking out when I was reading the consent forms about the risk but my surgeon did a great job comforting me. I'm ready....I only have to do the clear liquid diet the day before surgery. 7. Hello....I and 39 years old and my surgery date is October 4th. I have need overweight half my life but started after I had my first child. I was thin and athletic growing up. I started to do this in 2014 but decided I would try to loose weight on my own AGAIN. I lost 65 lbs in 10 months and gained it back in about 4 months. That was it! I have always been able to loose weight but always gained it back. I am a busy wife and mom of three and I have a very demanding job as well. But o have made the decision that it's time to take care of me. I am currently 280. My saving grace is I'm 5' 10" so people say I don't look like I'm that heavy. But I feel like I'm that heavy. I'm going to take it one day at a time and remember all the reasons I made this life changing decision. Good luck to you all. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I was hoping to have the sleeve but after my endoscopy, I have a large hiatal hernia so I will have to have the bypass. You can do this! When you are in doubt call on the One who keeps us from falling. I'm praying for you and happy belated birthday! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
