  1. Exactly 6 weeks post-op - sleeve and made it to Onderland today. This journey is amazing and I am so glad I started this adventure. I can't await to see where I end up. I haven't weighed one hundred and anything in over 20 years. This is great... and I'm so happy. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App

  6. Yes I experienced the same thing. Actually didn't loose any weight for 9 days, but I continued following my plan and concentrated on getting in all of my daily Protein, fluids and minimum calories and on day 10 things began moving again. Very normal. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App

  8. Hello everyone... I was sleeved on 10/31/2016. My weight at surgery was 218, the day after surgery my weight was 227 I spent 2 days in the hospital and when I was discharged from the hospital I weighed 224 - that was 11/2/2016 I am now 212 but i am very concerned at how slowly the weight loss has been. I dont feel like I'm loosing very much weight for the small amount of food that I'm eating. Am I being overly concerned or does this seem abnormal. Please, give me your thoughts... 9. Can anyone suggest a good unflavored Protein that I can put in my cream Soups. Preferably with 20 or more grams of protein per serving. I'm on my second week post-op liquid diet and getting tried of the flavored Protein drinks. Help..... Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App
  10. Hello everyone... I was sleeved on 10/31/16 so I'm 6 days out and I am experiencing these wincing pains in both sides of my torso if I take a slightly deep breath. This has been happening ever since surgery. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so what can be done about it. I do have COPD so I am wondering if it has anything to do with my lungs. Aside from this issue, I feel great. No other pain at all. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App
  11. Yes... I was prescribed 10 daily shots to self administer of Lovenox to prevent blood clots. Its precautionary during the period of time when you won't be quite as mobile as usual. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App
  12. Ok so I had my Gastric sleeve yesterday morning with a couple complications... I had a hernia repair and a small spleen bleed. But all went well and other than some gas pain in my shoulder area early this morning I have been relatively pain free. Going home first thing in the morning, feeling very well and ready for what's to come. Anxious to get healthy and thanking God for the good outcome. Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App

  16. So I've been doing the liquid diet for two plus weeks now... and I have to say although it hasn't really been too bad, but now I would love to have something I can chew or something crunchy.. My surgery is scheduled for 9:45 am. I'm a little anxious but can't wait to get it done and move on.... Looking forward to the day when I can move on to at least be able to have an egg and some soft cheese. I hope the second two weeks of liquid diet go quickly. Excited.... 20. Well I had my meeting with the surgeon on 9/27/2016 and sleeve has been scheduled for 10/31/2016. I was hoping to have it done sooner but at least it's not November as he initially thought it was going to be. I'm so anxious to get this show on the road. I want to be well on the mend by the time the holidays roll around. I started this journey in April weighing 267 and I am now 231. Feeling better already!
