You have to do what's best for you. I had GERD and I had the sleeve done. I haven't had any heartburn or anything since surgery. I didn't even have the gas pain people speak of after surgery. So, not necessarily you will have had or heartburn after surgery. I think it's just based on you and how you treat you body afterwards.

They said I would have to be on it 3 to 6 months. I guess the reason I believe it's the Coumadin is because the scale was constantly going down before I had to start taking it. I'm getting my liquids in and my Protein goal everyday and exercising tirelessly and eating correct food. I can't eat too many things with Vitamin K but other than that, no sugar No breads, all the foods I eat are healthy and I have not lost a pound in almost a month. Is there anyone that has to take Coumadin because of a blood clot after the sleeve. Is this medication causing weight gain. After sleeve I was losing fairly quickly and then developed a blood clot. Now that I'm taking Coumadin, the scale will not move and i haven't lost anything in roughly 4 weeks. Is this a regular stall so soon after surgery or could it be the medication? Hi. I was sleeved on 9/29. I am not having pain as far as incisions but having constant pain I think from gas. I've walked everyday several times a day and still no relief. I hope so. Prayers for you. I went and got the sugar free popsicles this morning. And what do you know, half of it was gone before I knew it. Thank you @migalo. But now I feel so full that I can pop! I walked around a little for about 10 mins or more. I am a little more confident that I got that half of popsicle down but still worried about how many fluids I'm not getting. Hi. I was sleeved Sept 29th. It is almost a week later and I am still not able to get my liquids down. I'm so scared something is wrong and scared of getting dehydrated. Is anyone else going through the same thing? I am setting my timer to drink every 10 mins but even a sip of Water makes me feel uncomfortable but I'm still forcing it.
