  12. I'm 8 weeks post op and always dizzy. Doesn't matter what I do or even if I do nothing. It comes on randomly or when i get up/stand up from bending. What causes this? I am hydrated... and will it ever go away?! Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App

  16. God bless you. My heart is breaking for you and I can't imagine how you must feel. I am 7 weeks post op (sleeve) and I'm having complications where I cannot swallow even soft food and I have constant pain/preasure in my chest and abdomen. I am weak, light headed and feel so depressed/anxious. I cannot work, exercise or even clean my house without feeling faint. I see my surgeon Thursday and hope he has an explanation and resolution. I have not seen anyone on here, or on any other forums with the syptoms I have and I can't tell you how much that scares me. I'm trying to remain positive though. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You have had a terrible, long battle and I hope things get better for you. Take care xx Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App

  19. I wanted to ask you? Did you actually feel your stomach spasm? Or was its constant pressure in your stomach/chest/throat? Somedays I feel like my stomach is swollen inside to the point that my incision area hurts. When I think of spasms, i think of a contracting pain. I don't have this. I have a constant pressure and the inability to initiate a swallow sometimes. Also when I do swallow one bite after not eating for a whole day, I feel extremely full. 20. Wow, I never thought about that! I hope this is the issue! How do you feel now that you're on anti-spasm meds? Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App I feel great now. I haven't had pain since I started taking (unless I eat too much). It's called Levsin and you take it 15 minutes prior to eating, up to three times a day. So I take it before breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's worth asking your surgeon's team about. Hopefully that's all it is! Good luck! I will be asking for sure! Thanks so much! 23. I called my surgeons office and she is not at all concerned. She told me to go back to my liquid diet that I may have overdid it??? Ummmm... I'm only eatting what I'm supposed to (soft foods) and very little of it, now I'm back to liquids. Call me crazy, but is this a little bizarre for 6 weeks post-op? Like I am on the brink of taking panic attacks because I cannot swallow my food or when I do, it feels like my stomach/chest is going to pop Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App
  24. No, I didn't have a hernia Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App If you didn't have a hiatal hernia repair, it's unlikely you have an esophageal stricture. And you are getting something into your stomach, which is very good! I'll reiterate: you need to see your surgeon ASAP. Good luck! Believe me I hope that is the case, but there are other causes that develop strictures besides hiatal hernia repair. Your stomach acid can even cause them. I am praying it's not a stricture, but I have to admit, I have all the symptons Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App
  25. @"MYWilliams" A sticture is the narrowing or blockage in your esophagus that can occur from scar tissue, after any gastro surgery. The narrowing or blockage prevents food and liquid from entering your stomach properly and can be quite painful at times. If not treated it can lead to malnutrition, dehydration and major anxiety about eatting or drinking. Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App So, you had a hiatal hernia repaired as well? No, I didn't have a hernia Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App

  27. And yes I am still drinking, but not as much. This just started yesterday. I managed to drink 2 bottles of Water and 1 Protein shake yesterday. That was it. Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App
  28. Thank you @ShelterDog64. I am seeing my surgeon on Nov. 17th. I hope this goes away on its own and I will be telling him about this for sure. Pray for me that it's not a sticture or anything else serious. I don't want any more surgeries or setbacks. Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App I wouldn't be waiting till 17th. Please phone someone today and be seen as an emergency. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Ok, I will Sent from my SM-G903W using the BariatricPal App
