    5 days post op, have walked a lot since the evening of the surgery, minimal gas pain, tolerating liquids, incisions healing nicely and 31 lbs down since I started the liquid diet on 9/22.     Thank you for the update! Stay positive and make sure you stay hydrated, even if you feel you are forcing yourself. My doctor's personnel tell me that is the biggest problem post op, and the number 1 reason people have to go to the ER post-op (dehydration). I am heading to the hospital in 1 hour for my surgery....     My doctor's office (also in TJ) calculated de length of the liquid diet based on your BMI. Protein shakes, broth, Vitamin Water, sugar free popsicles and others. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
