Thanks for the the great tips. I laughed at the thought of shaking my bottle on the plane and having it splash all over the person next to me. Ill be sure to test it prior to using it. Going to GNC tomorrow to check out Isopure.

Im flying from south Florida to San Diego with a stop over in Atlanta on Thursday 9/1. Anybody have suggestions for the clear liquid diet I will be on both ways? I will be traveling most of each day and am worried about how the heck I will stay nourished. Any suggestions for making the trips more comfortable will be MUCH appreciated.

I am currently on my pre op diet. I am only required 7 days of 2-3 protein shakes and 1 small serving of lean protein with veggies daily. Im having a sleeve surgery in Tijuana and am self paying. I, too, question my pre op diet plan as most people on this board are required to do a longer liquids only diet. My BMI is 35. I guess I need to trust in my surgeon and hope for the best. Surgery date is 9/2.

Hi all! I'm a newbie to this forum. I am scheduled to be sleeved Sept 2 by Dr Garcia, Tijuana Bariatrics. I'd love to hear about others' experience with him and his team. I live in south Florida and one of my concerns is the long flight home so soon after surgery. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Oh yes! This has certainly happened to me. From the day I paid my surgery deposit 3 weeks ago, until today, which is day one of my preop diet, I ate everything in sight. Gained 8 pounds during that 3 week period. I am so disgusted with myself that I'm almost relieved to be on this strict diet prep phase. I'm concerned that I won't be able to controll my food addictions after surgery.

I am on day 1 of preop diet. Surgery in one week. Im really struggling with the no coffee restriction. One cup in the morning can't hurt. Can it?
