    I'm less than 3 weeks out from surgery and I'm so nervous!! Im assuming this is normal. I start my preop diet next Thursday. Some days I'm excited and some days I think do I really need to go this far?! But then I remember all the losing and gaining games I've played since high school. Please tell me I'm not the only one!     My experience is very similar @candygyrl. I was "normal" size until I graduated high school and I just slowly gained and gained. I've tried every diet on the market with no results.
