It's been 6 weeks and I am having a hard time figuring out what to eat. I get so much conflicting info from the bariatric websites versus the chart my doctor gave. Can I eat lettuce? Can I eat raw veggies? Can I eat fruit? What are you guys eating?

Hi Tammy. I got my surgery on the 20th. I have been having a hard time also. I had a few post surgery complications. But emotionally, I don't feel like myself. I am ready to work out but I can't because I'm so weak.

No BM at all? That isn't good you could have a blockage. I experienced that with an unrelated surgery. Landed me back in the hospital for 5 days. It's very serious. Call your doctor today!

I'm good now I also had a severe UTI & intestinal infection. I came home a couple days ago and today I feel better than ever. I am still having a hard time drinking all the water,protein,meds & vitamins. But at least I am pain free.

I'm back at the hospital. The CT scan shows internal bleeding.

I had gastric bypass on 9/20. The issues I have had are scar tissue from a previous surgery. I came home the evening of 9/21. My pain level went up after I got home. Then it started going down as expected. Today I started protein shakes and I am in severe pain. I am still very bloated and uncomfortable. I feel very cold. But I don't have a fever.

With Humana?

My File has been sent to my insurance company Humana. It's been 4 days. Is it ok to call the insurance company or should I let the surgeons off handle it. I'm so anxious.
