  1. Thanks HeatherA! I do have lots of questions and I would love to meet everyone but I have already commited to a baby shower on 3/8. So may be next time. I live in NW Columbus so Polaris really isn't that far.
  2. Hi Everyone Have any of you had your surgery at Riverside? With Dr. Myers? If so, I would appreciate any feed back. I have my all day scheduled for 4/8 and will have surgery shortly after that. Thanks!
  3. Hi Everyone I am an insulin dependant. I was taking around 170 to 180 units a day on the pump and my numbers were still going to high. Now I am on Humilin R which is very rare. It very concentrated. My numbers are better but still not quite low enough. I am thinking of having the lap band surgery in April and was wondering if anyone had any success stores to share with me regarding insulin usage?
  4. I understand how you feel. I am in the same situation. When I told my best friend that I was thinking of having this surgery she said I was crazy then added that I should join WW with her. My sister did the same thing...saying all you need to do is exercise! What they don't understand is that I have done all of that and it doesn't work. And I have never felt full in my life! I say turn to the internet for support! We are here for you!! Good Luck!
