  6. Today is Sunday so I'm 5 days post op. I walked 2 miles this morning, much slower than normal but I still did it. I got 70 Proteins in today. I had super puréed Soup 2 -4 oz. I still have a little gas pain and now know what it feels like when I have over loaded my stomach, but I didn't throw-up. I am off pain meds. I had originally planned to go back to work Tuesday after Labor Day but changed it to Thursday. I will enjoy me extra days and get caught up on personal items.
  7. It now Friday so I'm three days post-op. It was not as bad as I expected. Day one you feel like you have been hit by a linebacker. My lower back hurt when I woke up. Once I got to lay on my side it got better. The gas pains are the worst part. But if you walk the gas pains start to release. I haven't had any trouble getting down my liquids. I started my first Protein shake about an hour ago. I've got half of it down. I slept the whole time at the surgery center and most of Thursday. I've been up much more today. Haven't had any regrets yet. Just excited to start this new chapter of my life. I've decided not to weight till Wednesday. The only surprise I had where the shots for blood clots. Luckily my aunt is a nurse.. So far she has done them for me.
  8. Mine was super nice. She just asked me about my relationship with food and home. I only had to go once for 50 min.
  9. Good luck tomorrow. Post how you are doing when you can!
  10. All packed and ready. Surgery is at 7:30. I feel like I should be more nerves. Not looking forward to the first few days. I did make a new friend Monday doing pre-op stuff. She is having her surgery at 8:30. We will be the only two spending the night in the Surgery Center. Excited I will not be there alone.

  17. Day 4 has been hard. I made a veggie and fruit smoothie with Protein powder for Breakfast I had a salad and chicken for lunch. I'm trying to drink Water to keep from being hungry. We cleaned my 9 year old bead room and play room. Then I finally sat down and we watched cupcake wars... Probably not the best idea. Planning to have shrimp and asparagus for dinner.
