    I had always been the person who felt like surgery was fine for others if that's what they chose to do. I felt like I could loose the weight myself. I've lost and regained several times. I finally decided on surgery as a means to help me loose but also help me maintain the loss. My knees and back had begun giving me problems not to mention cholesterol was slowly increasing. My Dr was constantly saying you need to loose weight plus I work with individuals who have many medical complications from obesity and poor diets. I'm 5 weeks out today. I don't regret the surgery and other than constipation and trying to get enough calories Protein and Water :-) in its all been good. I realize there's a journey ahead but hopefully I will develop good eating and exercise habits along the way to achieve and maintain this new lifestyle. Good luck on your decision.
