I was nervous about this as well because I take Ibuprofen too. When I went for pre op at The hospital I was told 5 days but I don't see my surgeon until Tuesday so I hope they don't require anything other than the 5 days. The nurse says it varies with surgeons. I got my approval within 4 days of everything being submitted. Everything went pretty quickly, if I wasn't waiting for a lab order from my PCP I would've had surgery a month or more ago.
