  1. I am 11 days out and under two of my scars I have these very hard oval masses. They feel like a pulled muscle when I'm sitting down. Has anyone experienced this? Everything else has gone like clockwork. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  2. My surgeon won't even do lap bands anymore due to high failure rates. I am almost two weeks out and have followed my NUT instructions to a T. I have only had minimal early dumping twice, both times when I ate my yogurt too fast. Good luck Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  4. I'm 8 days out and have been so constipated! I've been taking a chewable probiotic since day 2 and colace for 5 days. Dr. Recommended an enima which helped get out a few hard pebbles, and have only gone one other time of the same.     Constant Pain

    I have had a terrible time falling asleep. I slept sitting up for the first 5 nights. I was comfortable, but could fall asleep without pain meds. Past 3 nights I've had 5mg of melatonin.     Need AUGUST bypass buddies!

    My bypass is scheduled for Aug 15th and my pre-op is Aug 11th. I am so excited!! I'm 53 and decided to do this about a year ago. Once I found the right surgeon who was covered by BCBS, I've spent the past 4 months fulfilling the nutrition and psychological requirements. Hard to get the appointments scheduled! For the past 6 weeks I've been weaning off carbonation, diet soda, coffee, ice tea, wine, vodka, sugar and white carbs. I'm now on my required two week pre-op diet of 60-80 g of Protein and less than 20g of sugar and less than 60 g carbs. So far so good. I finally feel like I'm ready to start life again!
