  1. I love seeing everyone's before and after pictures they always inspire me so I thought I'd post one since its been a while and I actually am now in the 200's! My sw-442 surgery date-7/26/16 (Gastric bypass) current weight-298 I still have such a ways to go but I am loving my journey to my goal weight of 199. I honestly have no complaints and I am starting to enjoy exercises and jogging. I'm so glad I decided to do this.

I'm sorry I saw this comment. It's going pretty well I think. I'm getting used to the new eating style and I can now exercise more. I lost 38 lbs the first month and the second month 22. I'm starting my 3 rd month and I see my doctors on the 31st of October so far no issues or complications... How have you been?? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App
  5. Hello! My name is Jackie I am 27 I started my Journey on April 1st 2016 at my highest weight of 442 lbs. I had my Gastric Bypass with a packed wound on July 26th 2016 with my weight being 400 lbs. After my 3 day hospital stay I came home and weighed in at 410 lbs Although this made me sad I knew it was due to all of the added gas and swelling. I am 5 days post op today and my weight is 397 lbs. I wanted to join this community to see how others manage all of these new changes and to share my own as well as it serving as a sort of... diary. Hopefully I can communicate with people who want the same. I'd love to share any info I might have that someone needs and I am open to any questions! I wish everyone the best on their new life!

  7. I love seeing everyone's progress so I decide to share my first milestone everyone. On with3-8-16 I started my weight loss journey at my highest weight of 442 lbs the if surgery 7-26-17 I was 400lbs today I weighed in at 340 lbs 102lbs down!I made this mostly for myself because since I started at such a high weight it's hard for me to see my progress because I still look in the mirror and see such a big person I feel amazing though and its nice to fit in smaller sizes I know that I have a long ways to go but I'm so excited for the journey that awaits me Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App

    How to eat

Make sure you are not drinking too much at one time. I remember thinking I was drinking a tiny bit but I really wasn't. I got a shot glass and would sip out of that. That stopped my pain. I also agree with the temperature. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App

Thanks everyone!! Cervidae WOW 223 lbs lost in a little short of a year is amazing! I'm so happy to find someone who has the same height and starting weight as me! It makes me feel like its so possible. At times I would think that my starting weight is just so high that getting to 200 lbs isn't even possible
