  15. So, my RNY was August 8th of this year. I started seeing the dietician and had my first health check visit 12/15/15, so almost 1 year ago. I started at 496 pounds. Yesterday I had an appointment and weighed in at 353. I'm 143 pounds down over about a year since I started my journey. I'd like to go about another 75 pounds. If I hit that mark, I'll be the weight I was as a junior in high school. I'm currently 42. I hope everyone else is having success with their journeys as well!!
  16. Wow. I'm on liquid only for 2 weeks post op. I'm on day 8 after surgery. All I've had are premier Protein shakes and Jell-O Gelatin and pudding. Surprised you're eating sold food in eggs. I had RNY. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

  22. I had my RNY gastric bypass on Monday, 8/8/16. I'm home and on the 2 week liquid diet now. Any thoughts of good liquid Protein drinks? I used a container of Kroger carb master cinnamon roll yogurt, milk, and vanilla Protein powder and blended it together. Made 2 servings. Just looking for other people's suggestions. Thanks. 25. So, my surgery is tomorrow. I take about 8 different pills for stuff like thyroid, cholesterol, and acid reflux. Does anyone who has had the surgery, that also had severe acid reflux that was taking prilosec prescription strength, know at this point is acid reflux still an issue? I know the other meds I may ba able to stop later on, but im due to re up my prilosec and wondered if I should hold off. Thanks for your insight. Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App

  29. Well, it's been a hectic journey so far. I'm 6'2" tall. When I started, my weight was 495. I had to complete 6 months of appointments with a nutritionist. Done. I have been scheduled for my surgery on 8/8/16. As of now, with just watching my food, and some exercise, I'm at 450. A small win for me as I have not lost weight in about 12 to 15 years, although I've tried!! I'm looking forward to the next phase of this journey! Sent from my XT1585 using the BariatricPal App
