My surgeon told me that he advises most sleeve patients to take one week off. He likes us getting back to our normal schedules as soon as we can. He advised me a bit longer due to the abdominal hernia repair. I took 3 weeks and that was good for me. The sleeve was not a source of significant pain in any way. I am not scheduled yet for surgery. Might br November. Reading about all the pain people are dealing with. I know it is not everyone. My question is "The older you get does your pain tolerance decrease?" Or does it have anything with your age? I have had totally knee replacements on both knees and servived.
