  4. I'm 18 days po and I'm feeling great! So over puréed food!! I had one night in hospital after surgery with very minimal pain. I think I had two doses of panadol when home. I seem to not be able to tolerate Optifast anymore, I get very nauseous, so I'm drinking some Protein Water to boost protein levels. Also full cream milk gave me a mild case of dumping, won't be going there again !! My loop is 1.75 metres long because I had a lower bmi. (38) (was previously 54 pre lapband 8 years ago) Does any one else know the length of theirs?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. Hi Not from Sydney but 4 hours south in Regional NSW. I have been banded for 9 years and has lost 60 kg, keeping majority off. Having a few issues lately and have gained 14 kg back. My surgeon suggested changing over to a sleeve. So here my journey starts again. I am to have my band removed on 15th August and then I will be Sleeved on 5th December. I'm feeling extremely nervous about removing my band, but understand for my own safety it's needed. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. I was banded 9 years ago, and lost 60 kgs. I have recently started gaining weight about 14kgs, feeling hungry all the time, being able to eat lots to not much, some reflux and weirdly a few times woke up like choking on what must be stomach acid. I have had a barrym swallow which showed an over tight band and my esoghegous was slightly dilated. I have a meeting with my surgeon Friday and I am thinking I will just bite the bullet and get my band revised to a sleeve. Any advice?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
