Ok I am waiting on my insurance to approve me so I can have my surgery. Im hoping to have it by aug 4th. I know Im gonna need a mentor. Im 27 mother of 2. Married. Live in alabama. Work full time.

I plan to have my band late july early aug, i been thinking more aug 4th, Im just waiting on my insurance company to give me my approval.

Well prior to anyone coming on this board I was the first person on it and I came up with August 08 Slimmers I already have 2 signatures designed one is in my siggie.

just be careful eatting it cause i know my surgeon doesnt want me to gain anything prior to surgery or he will postpone it.

congrats on the approval. I sent my stuff off to aetna and bcbs 2 wks ago and im still waiting on approval. i dont know what the packet is, i would say way another week and then call the office and ask about it, or atleast wait till monday.

i had to pay for my surgeon consult but they said if i had the surgery and was approved by ins that i would be reimbursed the consult fee. my pcp faxes all the info over to surgeon for my 6 mth diet and my surgeon faxes everything to the ins. hope that helps

I have crunchy knees also and im only 27. my pcp said i have osteoarthritis, she said that the crunchy wont go away but that it will get better and keep from further damage once i lose weight.

honestly maybe you should look for another dr. it doesnt sound like your dr has your best interest cause if she did she would see that the surgery is medically necessary in your case. You have tried and can not accomplish it on your own. keep us posted

not sure Im up in Huntsville and I have Aetna and BCBS and I just finished my insurance diet monday and sent off for approval (waiting proccess) Have u had a ob(annual checkup) appt the past years casue u can get the records from there. I did that for the past 5 yrs.

im not quite sure but i have aetna, with how i read what u post i think that if something goes wrong and needs fixing that they will cover the fix. thats what it sounds right, or if just getting removed for complications.

Hey I just sent off paperwork for approval. I will be banded around that time. Im shooting for end of July early Aug.

I use my friends list to keep track of certain people that I have became close with on the site. Nothing more nothing less.

glad everything went ok and that your starting your journey over again hopefully with no complications this time. as far as the dates I would say banded nov rebanded due to tech difficulties june lol

congrats im in the same boat as u, i have my last 6 mth ins diet the 23rd and then cardiac clearance appt on the 24th then i get to send all stuff for approval. im shooting for late july early aug surgery date

whats the name of the meds your on. I take a water retention pill and it actually pulls the fluid off of me, i had to start taking it because i had heart failure 10 mths ago due to to much fluids building up on my heart and lungs, i would definetly check about this cause to much fluids can cause congestive heart failure.

hey i read the original message you sent before editing it, nah its just the name i came up with for it cause no one was in the board when i came on here, as far as the name im not gonna mention who it is casue dont want drama stired kwim plus its so not worth it.
