  1. I have the same thing with the pinching and soreness. Did you go to the doctor and what did he say?
  2. Texas girl here. Born and raised. My son lives in Brooklyn, NY.
  3. I think I almost had a small one. I didn't have the pain that a lot of people talk about and it only last for maybe 5 minutes. Thank God! I'm really afraid of that so I've really slowed down and am chewing like crazy. Some of the stories are scary, especially if you're in public. OT: Hey luv2smile, I have a neighbor that's from Cumberland, MD. I'm in Houston.
  4. Thanks for answering me. I kinda thought that it might be for beginners.
  5. It was stressed to me that we should slowly sip our Water or whatever we're drinking at the time. Will it hurt me (like stretch my esophagus or pouch) if I don't sip? I thought we had to sip due to restriction but I don't have a problem taking big drinks. (not gulping) Banded on 2/1/08. I've had one fill and I think it was 1.6cc.
  6. Yes, big navel oranges work well like grapefruits.
  7. I am 4 weeks out and tried an orange yesterday. I cut it in half and then went around all the sections with a knife (like you do with a grapefruit). I ate only the orange sections without the pithe. It was good and I didn't have any problems with it. I don't know about next week when I get my first fill though. I will probably stay away.
