Thanks so much for the information about the "pouch" in the urethra. Apparently I have a 2cm stone sitting in this type of pouch and it can only be removed surgically...I'm bummed about it but don't want it to get infected so...AGH!!!

I'm waiting on a callback from my surgeon later this morning. Figured I would ask on the site to see if that's common at all. I am recovering from a UTI so perhaps that's a connection - IDK

Tomorrow will be my 1 year surgiversary for my vertical sleeve gastrectomy. WOO-HOO! My life has changed for the better, looking better, feeling better, moving better, just better! My question is I'm getting over a UTI and wondering if anyone else suffers with nagging pain on the left side where the stomach was modified. Thoughts??? Anyone???

Has anyone else had trouble with UTIs since having their weight loss surgery? I was sleeved approx. 1 year ago and now suffer with these more frequently than ever. Someone mentioned to me it might be my alcohol intake, another one said not enough water. Thoughts?

I got sleeved June 6, 2016. As I approach my 1 year surgiversary, I want some input from fellow sleevers about vitamins. I bought a bunch of Celebrate Vitamins (chewables) but I want to know if sleevers are allowed to take whole vitamins rather than chewables. Thoughts anyone?

I'm currently 10 months post-VSG and still losing weight with no exercise at all. When will the weight loss stop? I'm starting to look a little like a starving person...Suggestions?

Krispy Kreme is my kryptonite too! There will be temptations the rest of our lives, we just have to remember that that type of food was killing us before we took action! All the best to you and just pray thru it! It too shall pass....
