I got a punching bag for Christmas and I love it. I have a bike in the living rm. I do yoga in the morning. I also use free weights. Monday and Wed nights I take my boys to swimming and I walk all over the school...using hand held weights. When all else falils I walk.

  7. I am having Gastric Bypass on August 10th. I am nervous and a bit anxious! I know that God has led me to this decision. I have prayed about this for a few years. I thought that I was going to be on a liquid diet for two weeks before my surgery. I had my preop appoint last week and they told me just the day before to have liquids. Clear Liquids... I cannot believe it is only 9 days away! I will be praying for you on your journey! I will keep you posted on my journey as well....

  10. Hello Everyone, I was scheduled for September 12th, but they had a cancelation and now my surgery date is August 10, 2016. I may not be a Sept surgery anymore, but I can maybe give you insight as I go through my journey! My preop testing is July 26th, 2016. They told me even though my surgery date is August 10, that I will get a phone call the night before to let me know what time I need to be at the hospital and what time my surgery will be. They expect that I will be in the hospital for at least one day. I am having the gastric bypass done. I think at this point I am a bit nervous. I would say that is normal. I believe I also have some anxiety. I was told that it is possible to gain weight with anxiety. Maybe that is why my weight fluctuates.
  11. I really liked what you had to say. Very positive. I am having the Gastric Bypass done on August 10. I go for my preop testing and see the nutritionist on July 26. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Thank you for being so uplifting!!
