@@vamping I have almost the same story as you. I suffered from PCOS since I was 18 and had horrible bleeding issues to the point where it would never stop. Finally the doctor agreed to do a hysterectomy after all of the other options (hormones, tubal ligation, etc) have failed. He said due to my age, 28 at the time, that I needed to keep my ovaries. Well now I have horrible pain that I can feel in that area and my doctor says it is probably my PCOS or it could be endometriosis. He says losing weight will definitely help the PCOS symptoms and that I should talk over the options with a bariatric surgeon. Well through constant research on this site and other sites I have decided to go forward. Unfortunately, I am in the waiting stages until August 21 until I meet the surgeon. Sorry for the long post but it's nice to know that I am not alone.
Would love to hear other people's opinions on how VSG worked with the PCOS symptoms.
