  1. I had my surgery 6 days ago and am down 10lbs.
  2. This is great to know because I too haven't been experiencing that fullness that I was anticipating either but I'm only 1 week out and have only had broth, jello and Popsicles.
  3. Good luck!!!! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. Thanks ShelterDog64. I seemed to be the worst off of all the patients there at that time. I kept apologizing to the nurses for being such a PITA. They were all amazing and took great care of me. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  8. I just had RNY with Houseworth June 20. He's very talented and experienced but doesn't check on you much post op which was disappointing because I had a rough go with it in terms of pain and would have liked to hear from him why I was having such a hard time. 9. I work in Seattle and am a single Mom so the best time for me is on the weekend when I'm not trying to be superwoman.
  10. Dr. Houseworth. I had RNY GASTRIC bypass though. It would be cool to meet up sometime. :-)
  11. Hi!! Yes, I'm doing much better, thanks. How are you doing so far? Did you go to St Francis? Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

  14. Pretty good now. I had a rough go at first with the pain but I'm doing better now. I'm trying to figure out when I'll return to work. How are you? Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App
  15. I had RNY on 6/20 and although my surgery was a success, I experienced horrible pain. I couldn't get comfortable, couldn't sleep, the pain was all over my tourso and into my back. They gave me pain meds orally but no IV self serve of which surprised me. I ended up staying 2 nights in the hospital and since I've been home I'm doing better but still a lot of pain. When did you start adding Protein shakes? I'm looking forward to adding those in and mashed potatoes! Right now it's all Popsicles, Crystal light, Jello and broth. 16. My surgery was the 20th. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App
