So far so good with my zero caffeine today. Yall are my rock. Had two cups of decaf. Maybe it tricked my brain into thinking its caffeine. Hahahaha. Whatever works. So so glad i went cold tirkey a week before mybsirg so indidnt add to the agony. Went to the hospital today for my preop tests. The room ill b in is like a darn hotel. Omg. Im actually more excited. Ok 7/26 sisters. I boo booed already on my first day of my preop diet. Booooo. Im on a less than 800 cal a day diet. 2 Protein shake meal replacements2water, low carb low sugar kind of diet and well i did great all day. Got home and ate some lean chicken and greenbeans then saw some leftover chili in a bowl. Heated that bad boy up and used it as dip for a large handful of chips!!!! NOOOOOOOOO. ive got to do better. Another question for yall. I know there is no caffeine after surg. I am sooo addicted to coffee and get horrible headaches without the caffeine. Thats the only caffeine i drink. I dont do cokes and stuff. Im thinking inshould wean myself off now so im not ultra miserable after surg. What r you all doing????? And anybsiggestions how to wean myself NOW or just go cold tirkey. Im seriously scared of what ill turn into!!! So happy for you. I have my band to sleeve revision next Tuesday. What were your issues with the band? Did they do the revision all in one surgery or did theybremove your band previously? Im hoping it all gets done in one surgery. He said he can but you never know once they get in there. NERVOUS!!!! Glad you arent in pain! That was my biggest worry, having to have 2 surgeries, but my surgeon said everything went perfect, no problems and not much scar tissue. I had weight regain with the band, I was also throwing up a lot and having a lot of pain when eating, all this with my band being empty. I'm so glad i made this choice! Ok so here is something to make u sisters laugh in the stress ofndieting and prepping for our surgery next Tuesday. Pack for Hospital: Pillows Heating pad Charger Earbuds Houseshoes Book Chapstick/lip balm Face wipes Book Lotion **biotine (for dry mouth). Heard this is a life saver Helpful suggestions im considering for after surgery: Premiere Protein shakes Ice tray to freeze broth etc since portions so small sugar free popsicles Fill prescriptions Clean sheets on bed Miralax Milk of magnesia Stool softeners Calcium citrate chewables Alive liquid Vitamin Balanced essentials liquid vitamins- tropical and berry flavor- heard very tasty. Heaven sent naturals can find at vitamin world Via tiv chewable calcium Centrum flavor bursts - tropical flavor Nutriwise- can purchase at amazon To help woth acid pain put 3-4 drops of organic lemon juice in Water per 8 oz Protein20- type of water at grocery store tasty- tropical coconut flavor is yummy Centrum vitamints Cup- My hydrate Hope this is helpful.
