  1. WOW! Am I reading this correctly, that you are 20 lbs under your goal weight in 6 months? RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  2. Add a few mint leaves in there too! Delish! RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  3. I work for a large hospital too and I checked the schedule and decided when I wanted to have surgery. Told my boss a week in advance, but she knew I had to have hernia repair. I left off the VSG lol. RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  4. @@tholbert08 I would try sipping out of a spoon or shot glass, at least a month before your surgery so you'd be used to it. Best wishes! RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  5. @FIGal78 Yes I've weighed myself this morning, and I am down 14 lbs since my sleeve date! RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  6. LOL!!! Thank you @@JennsJourney! I looked at the reviews and will give it a try! RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  7. Congratulations on your surgery! Don't be scared! Part of the healing process. Your stomach is much smaller, so you have to give it time. Imagine having a small hole and trying to get something much larger, than that hole, to fit. Follow your surgeon's plan and recommendations and you'll be fine. Each of us are different and our experiences will be different. Best wishes on a speedy recovery. RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  8. Awesome! I will buy me some and try it. Thank you @@OutsideMatchInside RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  9. I was sleeved 6/17 and I'm missing drinking a nice, cold glass of ice water with lemon. Can't wait to be able to drink without sipping. RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  10. My Dr has me taking two Flintstone vitamins, a children's aspirin, and chewable Calcium. As your surgeon if this, or something similar is ok. RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  11. What does the Bio Oil do for your skin? RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  12. RealityKrys, Yes this 1st week im trying to improvise. I hv made a batch of sugar free chocolate pudding, strawberry Jello and even strawberry/banana smoothie. I am trying to get enough Protein as well. So i hv the shakes and i add it to my smoothies. I love Water too and this whole sipping is crazy but a must...i cant wait to get cleared to workout. How are your incissions...mine are fine my abdomen just a little sore but the pain meds take that away. I am going to weigh myself Friday as that will be a week that I hv had my surgery. This will be an exciting journey...let's keep in touch..I'm just a hop & skip away in Florida. Best of luck! FlGal78 My incisions are good. Tender, but not bothersome. I've been instructed to do Clear liquids for the first two weeks. I need to find out from my surgeon of it will be ok to smoothies now. I so bored with the lack of variety. I'll be in FL in July. Taking my granddaughters to Disney. Yes, let's keep in touch and encourage one another. I'm so excited and looking forward to see what the next two weeks will be like. RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016 Trying to get the hang of this app. Need tutoring 101! RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  13. FIGal78 yes I'm in GA. I'm feeling ok. Bored with the first week post op diet. I get light headed when I stand or walk too long. Checked my BP and it was a little low. I also know I need more Protein. My stomach rumbles all the time and I miss drinking lots of ice cold Water This sipping sucks, but it's a must. How's things with you? RealityKrys VSG 6/17/2016
  14. I was June 17rh also. How's everyone doing? I'm so over the post op diet already. Been feeling hungry so I'm going to get in more Protein. My stomach rumbles all the time. The hardest thing for me is not being able to gulp Water. I love water with lemon and infused with fruit and ice cold. It's summer and I just want to down ice cold water but have to sip sip sip. Looking forward to getting through the phases and swimming again. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
