  6. Lynda I have had an organ transplant and will be on prednisone amongst other things forever. According to my surgeon, he thinks the best option is the sleeve and believes there will be less contraindications with the sleeve/steroid combo Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. I'm only telling my husband and if I didn't need a driver to and from the hospital, I wouldn't have told him. He is cool with me having the surgery (sleeve). This is a very personal mission to me and there's only room for one person in the saddle. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I am glad I saw this post. I have no problem with switching to decaf it's the question about the sugar free creamer that I was also wondering about. Good luck to you. I start my pre op diet on Wednesday.

  17. I have enjoyed ready so many of the post regarding all of the successes. I got my surgery date today (Jan 4) and am reaching out to see if anyone could recommend something/anything that they think would aid in my success.   19. Kaze- I found your post when I looked up key words kidney failure. My transplant Doctor ( I'm 2 years post transplant) actually is the one that got me started down this path. I've gained about 60 pounds since my transplant. I'm still in the pre op stage, as the bariatric program I am in is so slow. Thank you for sharing your story and I wish you the best!
