Quitting smoking was my first step to the sleeve surgery. I'm 8 months smoke free now and had my surgery 5/24. Best 2 things I could have done for myself.
Someone on my support group brought up a great statement during a stall discussion: your body structures like bones and veins and arteries also need to adjust as you lose weight. And during a stall your body is adjusting to your new weight. Just hang in there. The scale is only one measurement. There are many others.

I wanted to say hello. I'm 44 and had the gastric sleeve done on 5/24. Slept at home last night. Was up every hour. Some pain but gas x is helping. Already done a lap around my street. Trying to keep moving.
