Congratulations!!! My Surgery date is August 8th. I also have a band, but my surgeon is doing an all in one band out sleeve in! DSLdiversity

That is so awesome. I didn't get my surgery date until getting insurance approval. I was "tempted" today to call my surgeons office and ask to be considered to move my date up for surgery if anyone cancels or doesn't want the surgery... DSLdiversity

Yvonne I will pray for you. I'm grateful that my surgeon offered to do my procedure as an all in one. But with this being the case I have to wait a bit longer because the procedure will take longer. God willing I will get done in early August before the regular semester starts. I'm also an educator. It's a bit easier for me since I teach in higher Ed. A lil flexibility. Side note the first surgeon I went to did not want to da a one step procedure. I didn't choose him because he was "rude" to my wife and I. He is a very skilled surgeon... DSLdiversity

dvons, I feel you, my band is unfilled as well and I am COUNTING the days until my surgery! I wish I could go to sleep and awake from anesthesia... lol

Hello all, I have been approved and received all of my next dates for Gallbladder test, Endo, Pre-op, surgery date, and 1st Post-op. I started this process in February 4th (2016) and my surgery is August 8th (2016). Thats still right at 2-months away, but I'm praying the time goes fast! I am not nervous, I am not doubting, I am ready for my life to change for the BEST!

Finally got my approval letter! August 8th is the day I go in to get sleeved! Thank you all for the constant encouragement.

4LoveOfLife - I received a call from the insurance company Friday with good news and an approval confirmation code. Now the wait is on to get a surgery date... :-)
