My 4 week appt was yesterday and I am down 32 pounds. Yay to both of us. I also get to move on to tuna and chicken in the can. I am so excited. I am 22 days post op and today was the first day I went out and help feed our cows. We have an old farm truck and the seat doesn't move but it has always been fine for me. Well I get in and boom.. I can't see over the dash..I automatically get upset because someone obviously has messed with it. It took me awhile to realize..no one adjusted it...my behind just got smaller and I was no longer sitting on my self made pillow. My husband and I had a good chuckle over this. My surgery was postponed until the 22nd. Today is post op 1 week and I feel great. I did have a hiatal hernia repaired. I am struggling to get the required amount of Fluid in but everyday gets better. I am on stage one until the 4th and can't wait to be able to taste something else. How about you? I am doing great. Had to spend an extra night I'm the hospital because my heart rate was high. I live 3 hours away so better to be safe than sorry. Big winter storm coming so I want to get home before that. So far only clear liquid not having any issues with drinking. Bad bad dry mouth and I am using biotene. Only helps for few minutes. Today is the last day of my 2 wk preop Optifast liquid diet. Surgery tomorrow. It was fairly easy but I am really glad that I cut out caffeine a couple of weeks before. Keep busy and drink lots of Water. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

My surgery was scheduled for the 19th. I started my preop liquid diet the 9th. Yesterday the surgeon (yes the surgeon himself actually called me) and told me we have to reschedule for the 22nd. We live 3 hours away from the surgery center and already made reservations, took the pets to a boarding place, took vacations, rearranged everyone's Christmas plans. I know it is a small bump in this long process and it will happen but just disappointed. Add 20 below zero temps outside, vehicles won't start, frozen Water to the mix..thanks for letting me vent... My preop liquid diet starts Dec 9th and I cut caffeine (coffee addict here) out 4 days ago. It was horrible but now it is getting a little better and hopefully the 10 day liquid diet won't be so foggy for me. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

Both of my denied letter stated that I didn't have enough evidence of weight loss history. I had 6 months of food logs, dietician notes, etc. We also submitted notes from my PCP for the last 4 years.
