  1. Isn't a swallow test after surgery in the hospital? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Mine required before as well. I guess to make sure all the plumbing worked as expected?
  2. My surgeon also told me it is the weight at first appt that matters. I hope he is right because I have lost some weight and am now below 40 BMI. I would be livid if I am denied because I lost weight.
  3. Hi, my surgery will likely be in July. My surgeon said I should only be in the hospital for one night but I have read elsewhere 2 nights. Just trying to see what most people experienced. How many nights did you stay in the hospital and what determined your release? Thanks!
  4. My surgeon required the following which insurance did not require: Swallow test Pulmonologist including sleep study Cardiologist
