  10. I do eat eggs and eat two every morning for the protien. I'll keep you updated on what she says. I'm hoping I don't have to count the veggies as carbs. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
  11. I can do all of those, just don't really like the taste. I will up my protien shake intake to help, I was just worried about the carb intake from the veggies. I'm going to call in the morning to clarify, but she did say definitely no bread, rice or Pasta. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
  12. I'm currently doing my pre-op diet. I am not supposed to have more than 60 grams of carbs a day. I am constantly over this because of all the veggies I eat. If I don't eat a bunch of veggies, I stay hungry. My NUT didn't really explain if carbs from veggies count. Do you think it will be OK to go over the 60 grams of carbs a day as long as it's from veggies? Broccoli and Brussels sprouts are the only thing saving me from hunger and since I'm vegetarian, I'm eating meatless "chicken" strips which has a small carb count as my protien. I'm at a loss. 13. @lemme61 cool, that's about two hours away. Wish I was closer to the Raleigh/ Durham area. I'm in a tiny town and it takes at least 45 minutes to get to a city with some thing more than just a Wal-Mart. :/ I'm going to start attending the support group in Wilmington, I just wish one was closer. 16. My nutritionist told me hair loss will be minimal as long is your getting your required Protein in and taking your Vitamins religiously. I hope this is true. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
  17. My Dr told me to stay on a low carb diet for two weeks before the surgery and the day before the surgery have a liquid only diet. It must be hard to do a full two weeks of a liquid diet! Hang in there, your Dr must want it for a reason. Good luck! Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App

  22. My surgeon told me to do a low carb diet from now until the day by before surgery. Then a clear liquid diet the day before and nothing after midnight. I am also scared of hair falling out and horribly sagging skin. I have about 150 to lose. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
  23. I'm scheduled for rny June 14th. I'm scared, but excited. Sent from my XT1254 using the BariatricPal App
