    My surgeon sent the documentation this past Friday. I called my insurance company (Highmark BCBS) today and they said it shows in the system as "pending." I am so anxious to get an answer. How did you all deal with this waiting period? I am tempted to call twice a day, once at noon and again at 5pm... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I am planning to get surgery at Northwestern Memorial. It is a very structured program and can seem daunting at first. My insurance requires a 6 month diet and I finish the last appointment on May 12th. I think once you start you appointments it seems to progress pretty fast.
