  6. How do you know that the sleeve is the right thing to do? I've had my doctor consult, met all requirements just need to get clearance on heart & kidney which I have appts for. I been through breast cancer with numerous surgeries. I'm a diabetic with one kidney. I have been so excited about it all.   10. mytravel10 - I have a friend that also works in the Bariatric field she too is totally against this type surgery. She tells me that should eat healthy and excerise and I can do it on my own. I talked to nurse yesterday telling her that I was having a hard keeping it at 35 She (nurse) told me not to worry. That I have several underlying conditions going on ...
