  1. No you will feel a hard little spot in your belly and from time to time it might stick out but you have nothing to worry about it your band and port. "Patients you will get use to it"
  2. I am sorry you had this problem but you said the key word at the end you might want to have your doc to do a x-ray to see if your band has slipped, if you are not getting NO restriction at all that should be addressed my friend. I know you didn't go under to feel this way. Have you lost any weight? and are you eating your protien that is one of the keys to feeling full it really work trust me I have lost a total of 61lbs but again keep doing your part and check with your doc if you still feel this way.
  3. Well birdbrainzz you feel fine after our fill did you feel any soreness in the port area on today? well to be honest with you it will take about a few days and you will really feel the restriction and you will really feel it in the a.m. when you wake up, but please be very careful on getting filled to early and to many times due to the fact it will cause you to over filled and may cause your band to slip just as mines did, so just be patient my friend and you really will feel it soon. I wish you well
  4. Hello I am 22mths out and have lost 60lbs but after 12months after I began to feel different no restriction, had two x-rays first on showed nothing, and second one showed my band has slipped and they drained me twice and now drained. I was told I might have to go back into surgery to have it replaced with a newer band should I worrie because I don't want gain my weight back after working so hard to lose it. And will insurance pay for this procedure just a little concerned?:scared2:

  6. It was not so bad I got some injection into my port that filled me up so tight that my I felt really bad chest pain and they took several pics to see if I had any kind of leakage but there were NO LEAKS so refilled me back up and told me if the same amount fluid is not in the port he was going to have take another route to see what is going on. The only problems I been having was I think he put to much in my port because I have a lot of chest pain after I eat but I hope this will get better.

  8. Have anyone had any chest pain or tightness after a fill? The pain get worse if I bend or breath but will be relieved with some pain medication.:confused2:
  9. Its not that bad you will be fine just think about the new life you are about to take on you have much more engery to more with your baby. When I had my surgery of couse the first days were kind of hard but after that its was breeze just do as the doctors says and watch your diet. My mom stayed with me for a week which she was suppose to stay for 2 weeks but I told her to go home I would be ok after the first week. But as far as you dying you take a risk of that on a day to day just by getting in your car going to work. But do your homework on it before you make your decision and good luck:biggrin2:
