Hey there!!! My surgery is 3/19 as well. My insurance approval has not gone through yet but I am having faith all will work out!

I saw the same show, definately not the same!

Thanks everyone, I am just going crazy with anticipation.. can't wait to get the surgery done. It's been something I have been thinking about for so long, but now that it is a reality I just cant wait!!!

ANyone have any feedback on either?

My tentative surgery date is 3/19 and I am going crazy waiting!!! Nervous about approval, scared when I do have it I won't succeed. I guess that is normal when one has failed soooo many times... like hey if I have to control my eating after the surgery then I could control myself before the surgery ..

so exciting! My surgery day is 3/19 and I am still waiting on approval but hopefully that will be all set by then... keep in touch about your progress! Our dates are so close :wink_smile:

Welcome! I am new here as well, I have already started all the apointments I had to do and tests. I just have one left which is the nutritionist. My surgery date is 3/19 and waiting on approval with my fingers crossed!

I have not heard anything bad, Dr. Gritsus has 3 offices and works out of Chilton and Valley... any solid info you have would help, so I could ask....:biggrin:

Hello Everyone, My first seminar was last year and I was so going to pay for it but my financial situation did not allow it. I have a different job now, UHC and they cover pending approval. I meet all the requirements, got a letter from my Dr, bloodwork, EKG, Chest Xray, psych eval and just have to go to the nutritionist. My surgery is scheduled at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood NJ on 3/19 with Dr.Gritsus (staff and Dr seem to be great and very sincere) Considering the surgery is scheduled it seems they think I should get approved. The staff there knows what they are looking for and sent me for everything before getting approval and they said UHC generally takes 30 days. I am still nervous about aprroval, hoping for the best! Anyone have experience with UHC?:thumbup::confused:
