So I am now 4 days postop, and I am using the little medicine cups to make sure I take small sips. I just don't know if I am feeling full because overall I am just not hungry? I really just drink my Protein shakes because I know I need to get something in. What would you eat all day during the full liquid stage after surgery? Also would anyone use Gas-X strips? I have this air pain feeling near my hip area and it bothers me so bad!

Yes, all I have to say is while I was at the hospital it felt like I was in more pain then I have been since I got home. At home I feel so much better, I slept well and been resting. Now I'm just really thirsty but other than that I feel better!

I meant to put I was 3 days post op, my surgery was on the 19th. Yes when I was in the hospital they gave me some anti-nausea medicine also. It's probably the side effects of the medication I had. But I am still thirsty and I don't know what to do to quench my thirst lol.

I am 4 days post op and I am so thirsty!! I am drinking the one medicine cup every 15 minutes slowly, but I am so thirsty. Did anyone experience this? Oh and I have dry mouth, I've been using biotene. Like I said, I'm really thirsty lol!!

Hi all, I might be discharged today just waiting for my doctor. The first day wasn't bad, but at night it was for me. I'm finally on clear liquids only waiting for my doctor to advance me to full liquids. Other than that, I'm walking around and just have pain and soreness when using abdominal muscles. Other than that, I want to go home.

Hi all, so tomorrow is the BIG day!! I am so nervous and excited but I have been so full of nerves all day. Pray for me!

I am 5 days away from surgery and I am super nervous and excited!!

I am on day 9 of preop diet, and I had a horrible headache this morning I had to take some Tylenol. I've only had a headache maybe 3 times during these 9 days.

Oh how I wish I could have pudding and fruit!! Stay strong! It's tough, I am on day 9 of preop liquid diet with 5 days until surgery. I have 4 1/2 Protein shakes a day, 2 sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello, and broth at times (but I haven't been hungry so much). I see food and I get hungry but I want solid food! Then again, I am almost there!! So hang in there!

Same here!! In the morning and around lunch I have a harder time with my shakes then at night. I never thought I would be able to do this liquid diet but it really hasn't been that bad life some say. It really makes me feel better.

Hello I am on day 3 of preop Liquid diet and I'm on my second shake right now, but I am full. I cannot finish it. Has anyone had or having this problem?

Today is my 2nd day of preop diet and I have a headache, also I'm irritated from it. So hang in there we got this!!

I share your same situation. One week before my surgery. We can do this. I had a nasty taste in my mouth,too. Finally took tums at bedtime, taste is gone; back to the liquids this morning. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App Yes I had the ugly taste also!! Thank you all I don't feel so bad now that I'm not the only one lol.

I know this is too much information lol, but I just started my diet today and I have been constantly in the restroom. Has anyone had this problem?? Please tell me I'm not alone lol[emoji16]

Hi I've seen some people recommend a binder for after surgery? Did anybody use one? Did it help you? Where did you get it? Thanks you

Thank you for sharing this. ???? I love the team there they are really nice and I don't have Dr. Primomo, but I have Dr. Robert and he is so nice. How has your post op been?

My last appointment was on the June 2nd then everything was submitted to insurance on the 3rd. I found out by June 13th I was approved by insurance and got a call from my clinic on the 17th and schedule everything. So to me it was quick just took longer for insurance to send everything over to the office.

This a great idea, thanks for posting! I will totally be using this.
