  5. Hi, I too go to nursing school, and I also cannot be out more than twice a session, which for me is only 8 weeks since i am in an accelerated program. I had my surgery May 12th which was a Thursday and went back to school the Wednesday after to take my exam. I took it easy but I have only miss class the day off my surgery. Now not everyone is the same but i was very determined to finish my session and I was able to finish with an A:) All of this to say you can totally do it, it all depends on you, and how your body recovers after surgery. Let me know if you have any more questions Rossella Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  13. Omg I had the same feeling. I have my surgery on May 12th for Gastric Bypass, and I just started my pre-op diet. Yesterday, which was my first day,was really hard. The fact that I would never eat the same way hit me all of a sudden. I almost felt like I couldn't do it. I have to say, day 2 was better, and weirdly I am craving normal foods. Like tonight I was at a friend's house for dinner and they were having shrimp. I felt like I had never loved something more like I was loving shrimp in that moment. I endured temptation and had my Soup. We can do it, but i am feeling sad! Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
