  1. Two days post op! Hopefully, getting out tomorrow! Just had my first "meal"...jello, juice, and broth Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm two days post-op and I was thinking the same thing before my surgery. Honestly, I still have concerns like maybe I over corrected! I began the process back in July 2015 and I know I was prepared for it. I think my feelings now are just the fear of this new way of life. I've been battling my weight since I can remember and TBH, I just got used to the battle and was comfortable in that place. I'm prepared to do what needs to be done based solely on the faith that it has worked for and changed so many lives! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. My dietician told me decaf only after eight weeks, but one of the nurses said its her guilty pleasure and she drinks a ton of it all day long! Since caffeine is a diuretic she just wants to make sure I get all my fluids.
  4. Baseball player from the 70's and 80's. He tells a hilarious story about getting food poisoning and then finally being able to take a normal dump and how great that felt. It's a lot funnier than a post can make it sound!
  5. I always think of George Brett when I hear about great moments in the can...
  6. May 16th. Starting pre-op diet on 5/2. Getting nervous!!
  7. I just restarted the program on Wednesday of this week! I use the app for iPhone from "Active". I did it about 5 years ago and lost about 75lbs. I've since gained about 30 of that back. I'm about 380 and scheduled for bypass on 5/16. It is a great program and very doable for anyone! And I've never been on a jog and wish I didn't go when I was done!
  8. Other than that KC hat you look great! I'm having my surgery May 16th and attending the White Sox game July 5th! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
