I haven't tried milk after surgery besides the Protein shakes. I can tolerate cheese so I'm not sure if I'm lactose intolerant. But I make have to use fairlife if I don't find a solution soon. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm over a month post op and feel like I've made a mistake. I've been sick for this whole time and wish I could go back in time...

I have a problem. I have to wait longer than an hour to drink. So you guys know why? Yesterday had some chicken and then waited 45 minutes and had half a cup of water. Then I threw up.

Thank you so much. I really needed this today!! Yesterday I spent the day crying in school because I still wasn't sure. But now I'm only two weeks away from surgery and I think this is what I should be doing. I know I want a healthier lifestyle but this would be my first major surgery. I guess it is scary because I've always hear why would someone do that to themselves. Thank you so much. Just kind of want to know what I can and can't have. My surgeons office only gave me a meal plan day and I'm kind of one to want to follow it completely to the tea, but it's impossible right now because most of the things I can't get until this weekend. I got a surgery date and was talking to my surgeon who is telling me that I won't start pills for 3 MONTHS!! Which is totally insane! I start my 2 week preop on the 16th and I was wondering if I should start them then. Also what are your opinions on the patch instead? I was looking into get Patches just because I hate taking pills.
