  1. Hello Jodi, I am sorry to hear about the breathing! But I am so happy you called the doctor to see what was going on and did wait - that is the best way to handle it you just never know. Try using the pillow when getting up and down to help with the pain. Just continue doing what you are doing till you see yourself improve day by day!
  2. Hello My email address is c_monestime@yahoo.com My journey started in November 2007 I reached my highest weight of 300 pounds. My sugar level was out of controll for the past eight years I was told if I don't do something now then I can suffer as I get older with Diabetics so what do you want to do. He suggested lapband for me and after three months of apppointments here I am. The first three weeks were tough far as eating and adjusting, but the sugery went well with no complications. I lost 19 pounds the first five weeks, then another six pounds so I am 25 pounds or 275 pounds now. But it has been a struggle to eat the right things in the past two weeks. I now can eat what I want but for the past week all I want is sweets. I ate my first slice of bread yesterday in three months. All went well just want to stay on track. My small goals is to lose 20 pounds before I go back to the doctors a small goal for me. So I started back on step 4 to slow me down on my eating and cheating on foods. Any suggestions?

  13. Hello Allie, I didn't have the same problem, but I had my fill last week and can eat what I want. I don't feel much restriction to eating. I decided today to put myself on stage 3 for a week then the next week move to stage 4 for another week to strenk my stomach back again. I don't like the feeling of just eathing what ever and when ever so I am trying this to see if this will help. I presently weight 275 and started the process 2 1/2 months ago. If you want to check in with each other to encourage each other let me know. It's great to check in with another person.
  14. After I finished the five weeks and was put on stage 4 for food. I felt that I could eat more then what I was told. Then continued for another four weeks. When I went into the doctors I lose 25 pounds total in 2 months. I was told carbs will stretch your stomach rice, breads, and pasta so I was told take it easy on them and add them in in moderation. I also feel out of control because I can eat as much as before, but the only difference it is more healthier. I decided to put myself back on stage 3 for a week and 4 after my fill just to see if I can get back to the fullness again. After my fill, I didn't see much difference I could still eat and drink the same.

  16. I said the samething to my doctor last week for the first fill. After my fill I didn't notice anything, but five days later after eating lunch and dinner I can feel the difference and my stomach gets tight. So I stopped eating now, but prior I felt the same way. I told myself I have to stop and make sure I am eating the right foods because I will not see the results that I want. We can do it!
  17. After my first fill five days ago I found out my port was located futher down than I thought. I don't think you will have a problem at all.
