  1. I don't know if you ever check in here anymore...but I too am battling the head vs. Stomach. I live in Medford NJ. I had my RNY a 15 months ago. I am struggling...eating wayyyy too much wayyyy to often. I am scared because I have gained 7 pounds!! No way!! I need to attack this thing now!!
  2. Wow, should have said first goal 185! Next goal 165!! Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  3. I had revision also. I went from treacherous band to wonderful RNY. I have gone from 255 to 179. My surgery was 3/7. Initially (first 2 or 3 weeks was rapid) then my first stall...then slllooowwwllllyyy from there. For instance 2 weeks ago I was 283. I pretty much can eat anything. I rarely, rarely have mild dumping syndrome. I just eat a lot less. My practitioners are pleased, and feel as though I am eating in a way that can be maintained for life. My HW was 265. My first goal was 285- DONE!! Next goal 265- on my way!! After that we will see. I dream of 150 being the sweet spot!! But I already am so much happier, and feel amazing!! It is slower with revision, our bodies are already used to this , up and down, near starvation state, so it takes longer!! As long as we keep losing, that is what is important!! 6. Right ???????? sure made me not want to comment. So I will take advice from those who had there's. What should I take? My surgery is set for 2nd week of September Sent from my N9520 using the BariatricPal App Lounge wear/pajamas for walking!! Clean underwear. Seriously, I packed everything, and then some!! I didn't use any of it. I cared about clean underwear and clothing, some body spray....and was consumed about getting fluids in!! Other than that, I slept!! 7. Do what you feel is right for you! I brought everything above and then some!! I seriously am a beauty girl and work at the hospital where I had my bypass!! I thought... I'll be ready for all my visitors....well, I was obsessively consumed with getting my liquids in!! Between that and resting, and recovery, I used nothing. I just wanted to feel better and go home!! I did bring pjs and lounge wear, which I used a lot of for walking etc! Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App

  11. I had my lapband removed and converted to gastric bypass on March 7 2016. Forever gone is the constant sliming, throwing up, and the worst reflux ever,( which included several bouts of aspiration pneumonia). This is the best I have felt in years. My HW 265. My initial visit weight-255. My current weight.......I'm in onederland!! 195. I need to lose 10 more before September 18...a cruise to Bermuda!! My goal is 155, although that dosent seem ever possible. I think I am definitely slower at this than most...but feel better than I have for years. Anyone else going this slow?? Maybe I've lost all I am going to?? Even if....it was worth it!! Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  12. Maybe a shake a day, and more fluids!! I'm gonna give it a try Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  13. Thanks so much.. I have NEVER been a Water drinker. I guess since my body has always functioned on borderline dehydration, I thought I was ok. I am definitely better than before surgery but no where near 64oz.....Protein wise, my doctor does not believe in shakes post 4 wks. He wants real food. I try, but can't get in the quantity Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  14. NJ girl. I'm in Medford NJ. I am exactly in the same boat as you. Water....awful. Protein. ...so so Calories 6-800. I too can see myself smaller and smaller, but NO scale movement for weeks. I am beginning to think I went through all of this for 38 lbs. I feel as if I'm destined to be done losing. How can that be on that many calories? ? Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  15. Help!! I lost 15 lbs prior to surgery on March7. I have lost 22 more since surgery, but it was all in the beginning! I have been stuck fluctuating between 220 and 223 for 2 weeks at least, starting to feel hopeless, like this will never happen!! I am so afraid that my surgery didn't work! ( I'm a prior lap band failure ) Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
