  1. I am like you Anne, I weigh every morning, just to keep a check, but I do measure once a month. and I am going to take a picture every three monthes. so I will be taking a picture soon
  2. my partner and I was banded on the same day, we are having a wonderful experience because we know what each other is going through.
  3. I can eat about a handful, or two. I have to have it when I go to the movies, I don't seem to have any problems at this time. We will see later, I am going for my first fill the end of the week.

Hey Sherry, I got the magic bullet for cmas, I did not think I would use it much, because it is like every other kitchen toy I have, must have and don't use much, (except my George Foreman, I use every other night. lol) but I use the bullet every morning to make my shakes. The possibility are endless, when making shakes. I like fruit in mine. You can take almost any smoothie recipe and add your powder to it as long as it is vanilla or a fruit.Good luck
  5. My doc is free, unless I use fluoroscope, then it is $120.00. Personally I will not do it with out the scope, I want to make sure things are going well. I know another doc charges 70.00, and an additional 175. if you where not banded by him.
  6. Was banded 11/10/05 down 26 lbs, I am not complaining. I am loving it. hummmm sounds like a jingle. lol

  8. My partner and I both got banded on the same day, it has worked out great because we both go through the same things at the same time, on liquids, and mushies together it will make life a lot easier for the both of you. We understand what each is going through. Good luck
  9. I have a ham bone, from Christmas dinner to use to make spilt pea soup, I guess I better check it out to see if is OK? just what I need to do is make something that will make us sick
  10. Count me in, I usually just read the post and keep comments to myself, but I will try to post at least once a week.
  11. Doing good, down 12 lbs, Yeah, having some pain on the left side I think I might have jumped the gun on trying to have mushies, going back to the liquids Yuk, having a burning when I bend or twist the wrong way. This will pass. Day 11 with the band.Yeah
  12. I hope so because is has scared the u know what out of me. I hope it ends soon, I was banded on the 11th.
  13. Kat. is the burning right on the port scar? I am having this burning just below and to the left and only when I move a certain way. I was wondering if any one else had this problam?
  14. I was banded last friday and found that I had to sleep with an extra pillow, that was not like me, after the 4th night I was back to sleeping normal on my right side.
  15. oh the depression, the thought of what did I do to myself. Lucky for me that my partner and I had it togeather so we have each other to lean on. This site has been such a big help to us, I was happy to learn that depression was part of it. lol Hang in there we will get through this.
  16. Banded on the 11th, just waiting to get through the pain and the the liquid stuff never did good on liquids, but I will get through this. I am excited. I used this site to help understand what to expect. Banded in TJ. awsome doc's. Very good all the way through the whole thing.
