I couldn't have egg beaters until last week. I had my surgery on March 21st. I'm not sure you were supposed to have it yet. Check with your doctor.

Thank you all for the responses and being honest. I really appreciate it. I was a beer drinker but will not be drinking that anymore because of the carbonation. If I do decide to drink I'm pretty sure it's going to be white wine. Thanks again.

Can anyone she'd some light on this topic? I'm only a month in and I'm certainly not drinking any alcohol for a whole. I'm asking because I do like a cocktail every so often. What has been your experience? When did you dabble in alcohol again? Thanks.

I was in the same boat as you. It'll be a month for me on the 21st. I've tried different Protein shakes as well. The one I can tolerate the most is GNC lean shake strawberries and cream. It goes down easy. Hope this helps.

It'll be a month for me on the 21st. I do drink 64oz of liquid in a day nor do I get enough Protein. It's very hard to drink 64oz in a day. I maybe get about 20oz. As for the protein. I'm trying to eat more protein than drink it. I don't like the shakes at all. Best of luck to you.

I started puree on Monday.
I know for a fact I have not been getting enough Fluid or Protein in me. Can't drink 64oz of liquid in a day. I barely get 25oz. Before surgery it was no problem at all.

I too experienced what you have. Although I have noticed that I would gain a pound or two and then lose a pound or two. It's very frustrating. I had my surgery March 21st. I am on phase 3, pureed food. I lost roughly about 40 pounds. I have started walking do I'm hoping that will help me shed some pounds.
