  1. That is so true. What works for you may not work for the next person. You really have to make the decision that works best for you because you are the one who has to live with it. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App

  7. I keep seeing these coloring books in the stores. I think I will purchase one. I need to delve back into my arts & crafts post op so that I can have positive hobbies that don't include food. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  8. Wow...that does sound brutal. Poor thing. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App

  13. I am particularly interested in this Wednesday's episode as it will document Chay (who now identifies as a woman) and of course Pauline (I am so curious as to what she looks like now). Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  14. I have been really struggling with the sleeve vs rny decision as well. The way you laid it out has put things into perspective for me. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  15. Yes I know exactly how you feel. Its best to just stay focused on the end goal (your surgery!). You have come a long way and gotten over many hurdles. The moment you have worked so hard and long for is here. This is your time! Good luck! Can't wait to hear how you are doing. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  16. I am glad to hear you are doing ok. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  17. I think its a great alternative if you are scared of a tummy tuck. I don't think it would hurt to try and the recovery time is minimal. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  18. I thought it was just me. I'm reading the thread wondering if that is really a klan outfit before I react. If it is.. my opinion of this site has definitely changed. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  19. I plan to keep my surgery a secret (just not interested in other people's opinion who don't know my struggle). Most people are used to me dieting and exercising. Only my mom knows and if I'm ever in a relationship again, I'll let him know. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  20. Hi there, I am 25 and this is my second go round at wls (I was approved through uhc 3 years ago but didnt go through with the surgery). Like you, I have also been able to lose weight on my own (90 pounds twice) but each time I gain it back. So now I am quite determined to get the surgery this time because I am so tired of losing and gaining. I'm glad to see you have a date:) Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  21. True. Very true. It does provide amazing motivation. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  22. Yes. My bmi is 40.3 and I am considerinf the sleeve. Hopefully I'll get a date for this summer. Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  23. I completely agree. Its annoying when people think the same things will work for every person. Some people can diet and lose/keep the weight off without surgery and some of us may need medical intervention (like me). I think everyone should just stop judging those that may choose wls because you have no idea what type of struggle that person may be dealing with regarding their weight. 24. Congrats! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
