When he told me the band was a much better option, I was like WTF!!!!! I'm like he wouldn't dare say that to the score of people that have HAD to have revision. Got my list of approved foods/liquids. Coordinator says she will submit either today or tomorrow and it should be approved no problem as everything they ask for is checked off. Only concerning point is my surgeon is really against me doing the sleeve. He prefers the band. Told me I'd likely gain all the weight back. He has seen better results with the sleeve. It almost sounds like your surgeon has an ulterior motive for pushing the band. Stand your ground girl. What a nice way to rack up a ton of money from me and then bring me back in after a year so for revision to sleeve or bypass. It's a money thing purely.
