Ladies, what do you consider your ideal dress size ?
If I'm being honest, I don't care about the numbers. I just want to be healthy and look good naked. Lol

Surgery is scheduled for Monday! what do I need to prep?
I think you are doing great with getting the first week handled. I over prepared. There were a few things I had my 10 year old help with, but honestly 48 hours later I was out and about. Everyone is different, but hopefully yours will be a fairly easy recovery as well. Good luck.

So I finally heard it tonight!
I'm so sorry you had to hear that from anyone, but especially your wife. Unfortunately those that haven't been through it, simply don't understand. That's why I am so thankful for this forum. I know she is your wife, but that was still pretty crappy of her.

Post Your Silly Rant
My rant for today.....Why as women do we have to lose our boobs as we lose weight? It's bad enough that I noticed those being the first to go, but I swear I came close to cutting a nipple while shaving my legs this morning. Anyone else? No? Ok never mind then. On a serious note.....If my boobs touch the floor before my hands, can I count that as a toe touch?!?!?

Work, Work, Work, Work, Work
I always said I'd end up on tv one day.....of course it would be because I was arrested, but whatever.

See, that's all I ask. Just a little attention. That way maybe my gyno's office will drop the restraining order. <------for those that just gasped....it's called sarcasm. OK, now your making me snort my cottage cheese out my nose!!!! Waaaaahahahaha!!! Cottage Cheese?!?! That would be rough!!!

Oh that I totally understand. However I'm a hairstylist. Only men here are the ones getting their hair cut....not employees.

The great straw debate!
do you drink it with a straw? Or use the little spoony thing on the end? Ok, I laughed way too hard at the thought of the little spoony thing on the end.

Work, Work, Work, Work, Work
Unfortunately I have been dealing with massive hair loss since loosing my mother 3 years ago. The two things that help thus far is with being Italian, we are blessed with an over abundance of hair so I could spare some strands, and being a hairstylist.....I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Lol But thank you, @@KristenLe , my hair is probably my best asset. Well that and my smartassery.

Work, Work, Work, Work, Work
So here I am minding my own business and I get another "How much have you lost? You can really see it in your face". Um, did I carry all 49 pounds in my face? I think not. I know, I know....I should be appreciative for any recognition, but I did this for my Italian arse, hips, and thighs, not my face. Just once I'd like to hear "Dat Arse Tho". Meanwhile in another episode of "As This Dysfunctional World Turns", the mother from Honey Boo Boo is going on a strip club tour. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?

The great straw debate!
Hmmm. All very great questions, @@Dub I have no use for coffee stirrers, and the bendy straws? While they can be fun to look at as well as conversation starters, as @@LipstickLady mentioned, I too prefer my straws with girth. I mean what's not to like about them? Strong, sturdy, and the reward at the end? Not to mention the larger they are, it saves us from getting tiny wrinkles around our mouths as we get older. Yes, contrary to popular belief the size of the straw does matter, and if I'm going to use one I want to know it's going to stand up to the task at hand. Geez I love waking up to great straw conversations.

Sounds like the proper place to wait for someone to give you a "heads up".

PRAISE.....The Lorttttt!
Oh good. My surgery was March 23rd and I went back the following Friday. It will happen for you. I promise.

No weight-loss
It is normal but when you are going through it yourself you worry. Especially when it lasted 4 weeks like mine did. One thing I know now that I didn't prior is to take measurements. You might not see lower numbers on the scale, but you could be loosing inches. That's a plus too!! Good luck.

PRAISE.....The Lorttttt!
Had my follow up today and I'm down another 4!!! For the first time in like......forever......this could work!! Spontaneous dance party of one in my living room!!
-
No weight-loss
As you already saw in my post, it will happen. My one and only this far lasted a total of 4 weeks. Now don't let that freak you out. Everyone is different. But I did see the 5 pound loss last Wednesday, and here I am just shy of a week later and I'm down another 4. You will start loosing again....no worries.

APPROVED
@@NavarreMom He is highly respected in this field. Unfortunately he wouldn't take my insurance, however I found the perfect surgeon for me. And sorry for being nosey, but given your username, I had to peak at your profile. You don't find many from our area on here. Lol How far along are you in the process?
