  1. I just counted mine arent first and last dietician appts arent 180 days apart. If thats the rule at my insurance I couldnt have my surgery until at least Aug 14 instead of July 25 when Im scheduled. I better ask then next time I go. I hope they would have known this when they scheduled everything. Even though its only a few more weeks It will seem like the longest weeks of my life.
  2. I don't know if mine have to be 180 days apart. The scheduling nurse made scheduled all of the rest of my appointments so I guess she knows what shes doing. I hope. Lol
  3. My insurance is BCBS. Dont have to lose but can not gain a pound at all or Im denied.
  4. I hope you feel better.
  5. Mine ended up earlier because they schedule my mandatory 6 months of dietician appointments a few days to a week earlier each time. They told me thats how they do it. Lol
  6. That will put you right there close to me on 7/25.
  7. That is really quick and a lot less tests. Even though when I started I thought 6 months would never get here it really is going by fast.
  8. Harpers Ferry, WV but I'm having my surgery in Reston, VA
  9. I'm excited. I'll probably wont be nervous until a couple days before. I'm excited. I'll probably wont be nervous until a couple days before.

  11. Glad to hear it went well. I hope you feel better soon.
  12. Actually I do like the dietician she pretty much lets me know what all I'll be eating after surgery and what vitamins and stuff I will need. She is very informative.
  13. Yes the insurance company required it once a month for 6 months before surgery and 6 months after. I dont have to lose any weight before surgery but I cant gain any weight or they will disqualify me.
  14. I also had to pay out of pocket for my dietician appointments. $350 for the 6 before surgery and $350 for the 6 after surgery. That is the only thing my insurance didnt cover.
  15. Good luck to you. Keep us updated.
  16. I went to my third dietician appt last week and they set my surgery date for July 25. I'm glad they went ahead and set it so I can plan everything. Im not sure why they picked that appt though. I never asked. They set up all the rest of my dietician appts and my final appt before surgery also.
  17. My surgery is scheduled for July 25 so I am close to your schedule.
  18. So far all I have to do is clear liquid for 3 days prior. I cant have protein shakes in that 3 days. Just juices, water, broth, jello and popsicles.
  19. The EGD was a breeze for me. I went in they put me to sleep and I was up and out the door an hour later. I felt fine afterwards so that nothing to worry about.
  20. I'm having my surgery in Reston Va. My Psych evaluation went straight to the doctor after the psychiatrist approved it. I was surprised because I thought I would just talk to him but I only did for half hour and then I actually had to take a test that was 580 some questions. All true and false. That made me nervous for the week it took to get the results. I was approved though and I am bipolar and have high anxiety so you should be fine.
  21. First surgery is 7:30-8:30 and I have to be there at 5:30 and its an hour away so thats good because I will probably be up all night the night before. Lol
  22. My birthday is July 16th. I could have had it the week after but I wanted to be done first in the morning and the 25th was the first day that has the first surgery of the day open. I dont want to wait all day and get my anxiety going any worse then it already will be.
  23. I went to my 3rd out of 6 dietician appointments earlier today. They scheduled my surgery at this one for July 25. Yay!
  24. I asked the nutritionist for the diet plan on my first visit with her and she gave me that list of the vitamins at my second visit. I have my third visit tomorrow. I wanted to see what I would need so I can pick it up when its on sale.
  25. This is my list from my doctor.
